Adventure, Leadership and Friendship
Camp Spirit is a place where youth and young adults find meaningful employment, personal growth, intentional Christian community, comprehensive leadership skills training, and valuable work experience. Summer Staff travel with their team - from one to seven weeks of the summer - and engage with United Church Communities of Faith (congregations) in rural and urban settings around the province of BC and the Yukon territory. Since its inception, Camp Spirit has placed a high value on training our staff well and paying a competitive wage. The Camp Spirit Summer Staff experience offers youth and young adults excellent, progressive, inclusive, and dynamic opportunities to develop as leaders. |
Welcoming Diversity
Camp Spirit Summer Staff is for everyone with a heart for United Church (day) camping, and working with children and youth! Whether you're an experienced leader, someone who's just starting to get to know their leadership skills and gifts - or anywhere in between - you are welcome to apply. Camp Spirit is proudly a Christian place of Belonging for every person, where diverse family structure, genders, cultures, faiths and sexual orientations are celebrated and treasured! |
